Jose Mourinho gave a withering retort to Luis Suarez’s latest claims as he insisted: “I would never write a s*** book.”
Suarez insisted an unnamed Chelsea player had told him he was embarrassed by the tactics deployed by Mourinho as the Blues won 2-0 at Anfield in April, to help hand the title to Mancheser City.
But the Chelsea boss, who has previously poured scorn on remarks made about him by footballing authors Jorge Valdano and Roy Keane, came out with his studs showing as he took down the Uruguayan at the knees.
Mourinho said: “Was it another book? Books!
“I’ve not written a book, no. At 51, I might have enough of a story to tell to write one.
“But when you are 25? Then you can only write a book about when you are a kid?
“I have an invitation to do a book but just one where I’ll choose 100 pictures of my career, and where I just make a little comment on every picture. A memory book.
“But not a book to tell ‘s***’ and to criticise people and to speak negative things about people who belong to my career. I won’t do that.”
