News reaching our desks indicates that legendary singer Jose Chameleone is on the verge of ending his 26-year-old music career.
During his phone call interview with a local TV station, Chameleone revealed his intentions of hanging up the microphone within the next 7years.
The Leone Island Music Empire CEO noted his need to cease begging for support and circumstantial consent from the public.
“Tell them that I got only 7years to quit this music. I no longer want to keep pleading to people,” Jose Chameleone said.
This comes in as the multi-award-winning singer is being trolled for denouncing music comrade, Bobi Wine’s political camp, National Unity Platform, and regaining his stand in the National Resistance Movement.
Born real names, Joseph Mayanja, Chameleone’s career began in 1996 as a DJ at the Missouri nightclub in Kampala. He was later signed to the Kenyan record label Ogopa Deejays, which released his first single, “Bageya” that featured Kenyan artist Redsan.
Throughout the years he has recorded record selling albums like Mama Mia, Mambo Bado, Jamila, Kipepeo, Bageya, Shida za Dunia, Bayuda, and Njo Karibu.
Jose released his first album in 2000 and by 2013, he had released a total of 13 albums.
