Legendary Jose Chameleone is set to return home this week after months in the United States receiving specialized treatment for acute pancreatitis.

The singer left Uganda in December 2024 and has been undergoing care ever since.
The news of his return was first shared by his close friend and TV presenter Dagy Nyce via X (formerly Twitter), and later confirmed by this publication.
According to Dagy Nyce’s post, Chameleone is expected to land at Entebbe International Airport on Saturday, 12th April, at 5:30 PM.
“4DAYS TO GO…..>>>> Welcome home champ Thursday Ebb airport 5:30PM,” Dagy Nyce posted.
During his stay in the U.S., Chameleone was accompanied by his younger brother and fellow musician Weasel Manizo, who took on the role of caretaker.
The two were also under the care and support of Juliet Zawedde, a Ugandan philanthropist based in the U.S.
