Ugandan music legend Jose Chameleone has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Mowzey Radio, describing him as a unique musical talent who can never be replaced.

Speaking during an interview on Rwanda TV, Chameleone said, “There will never be another Mowzey Radio. I personally know myself as a good singer and storyteller, but I can assure you Radio was unique musically.”
Mowzey Radio, who passed away in 2018, was known for his deep lyrical talent, emotional voice, and powerful storytelling through music.
He was one half of the popular Goodlyfe Crew, alongside Weasel Manizo.

Chameleone, one of Uganda’s most respected musicians, worked closely with Radio during his lifetime and played a key role in mentoring him during the early stages of his career.
“Radio had a special gift. He would write songs that touched people’s hearts and performed them with so much passion,” Chameleone added during the interview.
Mowzey Radio’s legacy continues to live on through his timeless songs and the strong impact he made on Uganda’s music industry.
Many fans and fellow artists still remember him as one of the greatest musical talents the country has ever produced.
