Legendary Ugandan singer Jose Chameleone has expressed disappointment with the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) leadership.

The singer says he did not receive any support from the federation upon his return from the United States on Saturday.

According to Chameleone, no representative from the federation came to welcome him back, even though he is one of its founding members.

He believes the federation should have shown concern and stood by him during his difficult time abroad.

“The federation is supposed to help musicians through their hardships. But during my time of need, no one from the UNMF reached out or showed support,” Chameleone said.

He emphasized the importance of unity and care among artists, especially within organizations meant to represent their interests.

His comments have sparked discussion among fans and musicians about the role and responsibility of the UNMF leadership.
