John Terry says he spent the end of last season crying after Chelsea blew the title

John Terry

John Terry has revealed he spent the end of last season crying his eyes out after Chelsea missed out on the Premier League title. Yep.

The Blues captain was part of a side that threw away their chance to win the league, with Manchester City beating them to the trophy.

And while it was no shame to lose out to such a strong side, it hit emotional Terry hard, and he admitted he couldn’t stop sobbing about it.

‘I was in tears over the Premier League last year,’ he told the Guardian.

‘It was over us throwing that away and not winning it. It’s what I play for week in, week out. I’m never scared to show my emotions.’

Terry probably won’t be sobbing come the end of this term though, with Chelsea looking set to right some wrongs by cruising to the title this term. Winning.
