News reaching our desk say that renowned sports pundit, Joe Kigozi, has quit NBS. Joe has also been serving as the station’s mouth piece (Public Relations Officer) by the time he quit. Sadly, this might hit the station hard in its bowels bearing in mind that the station has recently leapfrogged other stations as far as viewership is concerned, thanks to a restructuring policy and addition of new faces.
Unconfirmed reports say that Joe has been offered an irresistable offer from Buganda TV. The offer was apparently too big and juicy for Joe to turn down. He has been one of the strongest pillars and long-serving presenters at the Kamwokya-based station.
Over the years, his popularity soared to high heavens because of his Sunday sports segment with Aldrine Nsubuga among other shows.
