“May your soul rest in peace Ssalongo AK47. We are going to miss you a lot but you will always be remembered,” is what AK47’s former manager, Jeff Kiwa, posted on his wall as he said good bye to the fallen singer. Shortly after this, guns were turned on him with some pointing fingers saying that he could be responsible for his death. Although he has kept quiet about the whole saga, he couldn’t hold it anymore when Chameleone sang a song accusing him of “taking away” AK47.
News on our desks indicates that Jeff who has already recorded a statement with Police after being identified as one who could have had a part in AK47’s death, has broken his silence to the public. It seems he couldn’t take it anymore when he listen to Chameleone’s stingy song about the deceased 25 year old musician.
In a post made online, Jeff revealed that he is unhappy with Chameleone’s song as hit where anyone would have expected him to hit in order to haunt Chameleone. He asked him about Karamagi!
“You are saying that I took him away, has anyone asked you the same question about the Late Karamagi?” Jeff’s post read.
Karamagi who was allegedly tied to a poll and burnt to death like in the Old Testament biblical times at the orders of the singer at his Seguku home died at Mulago hospital in 2012. His case was later closed by Police before being reopened years later when his uncle a Major in the Army returned from Somalia.
Chameleone who is in Nairobi at the moment is yet to respond to Jeff, perhaps in another song.
We will keep you posted.
