We all know Ugandans love a good party and that is what they got on Wednesday February 16, 2022. It being a public holiday, Jameson decided to throw a party for its consumers a party dubbed the ‘Jameson Takeover’. The event that went down at Thrones in Bugolobi left the crowd begging for more of these events since it was the first of its kind in Kampala.
It started at 6 pm with revellers walking into the Jameson branded venue ready to have a good time. It was all games and fun as a number of activities lined up for the evening. A barbershop for anyone who wanted to get a haircut, beer pong, live band among other activities defined the evening.
The Takeover is about highlighting the essence of Jameson and making everyone enjoy the Jameson experience which is why the organisers made sure that the fully packed venue never lucked a drink as every table was availed with a 750ml Jameson bottle.
When the Aka Dope band hit the stage, the crowd couldn’t help but dance as they performed. After the band performance, the DJ took over and played music back to back for the crowd till the wee hours of the night.
We wonder when the next takeover will happen.
