Renowned Ugandan singer Jamal Wasswa has dismissed claims that he has faded from the music scene.

The artist, known for his soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics, says his music remains relevant despite the rise of new artists.

“I have never faded off the music scene. My music still rocks more than the new artists’. My music is timeless,” Jamal said in a TV interview.

Jamal Wasswa was one of the top artists who dominated the Ugandan music industry in the late 2000s.

He is best known for hit songs such as Anavawa, Abakyala Bazira, and Ononsonyiwa. His songs continue to receive airplay and remain popular among fans.
