Dancehall fans in Kampala have a reason to smile again, especially after what I am going to tell you. Jamaican singer, Konshens, who has been here a number of times, is coming back to Kampala. Yes, the “Girl a bubble” singer is not yet tired of the pearl of Africa and neither are his fans tired of him yet, so, he will show face again and stage a mega show soon.
The singer who will be here for the 3rd time will stage a show at Common Wealth Resort. The show is organized by the management of the resort.
Konshens’ hits have included “Winner”, “Rasta Impostor”, “This Means Money”, “Good Girl Gone Bad”, “Gal Dem A Talk”, “Realest Song”, “Represent”, “Do Sumn” and “Forward”, “Gal a bubble”.
His 2005 single “Pon Di Corner” was a major hit in Japan, and led to a month-long tour of the country and a Japan-only album release.
