Jackie Chandiru has been nursing a whirlwind of emotions after Kampala Sun, a local tabloid ran a front page story of her cardiac condition claiming she was nursing a broken heart not a cardiac complication. The ”Gold Digger” song bird in local radio interview rubbished the claims as she revealed how she has been depressed by the story. ”The tabloid writers will continue to live a normal life after running false stories to sale their papers. For some of us, these stories take toll on our lives”,she confessed. She also doubted the professionalism of the writers and journalists who did not seek her opinions or paid her a visit to assess the nature of her condition.
The singer also revealed she cancelled her surgery appointment in India because the cardiac surgeon had been involved in a controversial death of a kidney patient raising doubts over his expertise in dealing with more sensitive organs like the heart. She will soon be flying to Obamaland for the surgery. Dear before you rush to crucify tabloids, it is important to note that they cant mind their own business because other people’s business is their business. We encourage Jackie to remain the strong woman…its the painful cost of being a celebrity!
