Jackie Chandiru??? Does anyone remember this girl?? If your memory is playing tricks on you, she is that girl that is slowly being famous for being romantically involved with that advocate Caleb Alaka. It’s a shame this lady is only getting credit for her romantic links and not her undisputed singing talent.
You might have heard that Jackie Chandiru collaborated with a renowned Nigeria female songstress Waje―famous for hits like I Wish, and a Kenyan called Isis on what is supposed to be a monster jam called Take Me Higher.
What really hurts is that this song was released in April but for some reasons it has failed to take off. Don’t get fooled this song doesn’t fail on any front. This song is super-hot. It doesn’t fail on quality and is a certified banger by any means and could get her back to the charts.
It’s a typical Naija song that would fit perfectly in the Afro-pop and it’s a style that Naija superstars like Chidinma and Tiwa Savage have found comfortable and thrived on. The Naija feel on the beat is conspicuous and Waje who comes last on the song doesn’t intimidate the vocally strong Jackie who gives us some sensual lyrics in English and her native Lugbara. The arrangement of vocals is crisp and all the three ladies do a great job to give us a stomper.
The video is classy with a whole club feel and you could tell that this was a Nigeria project from the onset.
Everything was done professionally from the audio to video.
