Jackie Chandiru is a Ugandan musician diva who has taken the industry by romp shortly after the downfall of the Blu-3 group proving that she’s musically rich to stand as a solo artiste. She is also one of the few Ugandan artistes that are praised in South Sudan for her ability to listen and communicate in their native language.
Her relationship with the South Sudan community seems to grow every day. This is evident in her urge to do songs in Sudanese native language one such being her latest song Kalasi, a Sudanese word to mean okay or fine.
News reaching our desk is that Chandiru, in addition to the already airing songs, with some finest South Sudanese musicians is planning on recording 3 more songs strictly in South Sudanese language. The importance of this is to call for peace in the war ravaged country that has lasted to close to a year now.
