Friends and fans of late city socialite and tycoon Ivan Ssemwanga are planning to honour him in a special way.
We have learnt that a farewell party has been organised in the memory of the former Rich Gang boss who was laid to rest on Tuesday at his ancestral home in Kayunga.
Ssemwanga, who was famous for partying hard and his spendthriftness, will be honoured in a similar manner at a party that will be held at Space Lounge tonight. The party will be graced by top city musicians and socialites including Jack Pemba and Meddie Ssentongo among others.
Ivan Ssemwanga passed away in a South African hospital on Thursday, May 25 where he had been admitted in a coma for several days after he suffered a stroke. He died aged 39.
