Big Size Bebe Cool has explained his choice of American billionaire and rapper Jay-Z as a potential guest for DJ AG’s street show in London. The Ugandan musician made an appearance on the program, where his performances garnered attention from both the audience and social media.

However, it was Bebe Cool’s mention of Jay-Z as a desired guest that sparked backlash from Ugandans online, with many criticizing him for seeming anti-Ugandan since they had hoped for at least a mention of a local artist.

Known for his unapologetic stance, Bebe Cool responded by stating that Ugandans need to recognize that the world does not solely revolve around their perspectives or desires. He emphasized the importance of reciprocating the blessings received.

According to the “Boy Like Me” artist, DJ AG has faced numerous challenges over the years in building his show to its current state. Therefore, Bebe Cool wishes to elevate it even further, which is why he suggested featuring a prominent global star.

The singer mentioned that throughout his performance, he consistently promoted Uganda, East Africa, and the East African Bashment Crew, which he believes serves as a form of global promotion for the region.

He also pointed out that DJ AG has recently supported two Ugandan artists, himself and Joshua Baraka, within just six months, making it time for the favor to be returned.

“Ugandans should realize that it isn’t just about their own gains; sometimes it’s about contributing and considering what others may want. DJ AG has been working hard for years to develop his show and it still hasn’t reached his aspirations. Therefore, my suggestion of Jay-Z, one of the greatest artists, was a gesture of support to him. He has already uplifted Uganda with two artists, Bebe Cool and Joshua Baraka, in a short span of six months. People should take a moment to reflect on what the other party desires. Furthermore, I continuously referenced Uganda, East Africa, Wyre, and Naziz, which was significant promotion in itself,” he stated.
