This could as well be rated as the rise and fall of Zari, the Ugandan goddess at whose kitone men converged and sacrificed their wallets. When she finally got Diamond Platnumz, her last pawn on the chess board of men, everyone was happy for her. At long last, her legs had found a place to rest, a place to call home and a man to call husband. And the feeling seemed mutual. It was the power couple of East Africa, similar to Jay Z and Beyonce or Kanye and Kim. Yet, now, the situation seems to be going for hell. Zari’s relationship with Diamond Platnumz is one the road to Armageddon, collapsing one inch at a time.
Could the collapse be true? It all started when Zari paid her Tanzanian friend, Sinta Cynthia a visit. Cynthia is a blogger and a socialite of sorts back in Dar-es-salaam. Cynthia was later to connect Zari to a married Tanzanian Don by the name of Katunzi. Katunzi has been into shady businesses and many think he’s probably dealing in drugs, an allegation we can’t ascertain. It was Katunzi that helped Zari’s relationship with Pharouq Sempala to last for some fair months. He was the one that paid Zari’s bills throughout the time she dated Pharouq. Katunzi was the guy who maintained and operated Zari’s lavish lifestyle. Then, the worst happened, weeks back, Zari had a few disagreements with Cynthia over certain issues, some financial. The deal had been that Zari would always send some money that she got from Katunzi to Cynthia. It seems, she didn’t honour this part of the bargain.
Following the bitter break-up of two close friends, one the pimped and the other the pimp, the worst began to happen. Cynthia decided to contact Katunzi’s wife and Diamond. She shared Zari’s sexual escapades with these two parties. Some of these included phone sex messages between the two. Katunzi’s wife, a one Gertrude, a graduate of Kampala International University couldn’t believe that her husband had been cheating on her. Katunzi was in disbelief, all his private endevours were in Tanzanian tabloids. On asking Zari how this happened, Zari shared the story of her break-up with Cynthia.
All this would have gone well, had Diamond not been involved in the saga. In her message to Diamond, Cynthia pleaded with Diamond to have a DNA immediately the baby is born. She told him to be very cautious and not believe that the baby is automatically his. In her message, Cynthia further said the true father could be Katunzi. This has caused a great deal of unhappiness to Diamond who is now at cross-roads. He doesn’t know whose word to take, his trust for Zari has hit an all-time low. In the screenshots, it is seen that Zari had continued to meet Katunzi while in a relationship with Diamond. It is clear that Zari has been keeping Katunzi as her side-dish while showing off Diamond to the public. Zari’s facebook updates are already signaling the end of the relationship. Her past update spoke of how she’d had a bad day. Not a single mention was made of Diamond’s trip to the UK.
Friends to the couple have told BigEye.ug that the marriage is going through a phase of silent treatment. Diamond feels betrayed, yet can’t opt out until the baby is born. Zari on the other hand can’t understand the new cards that life is trying to play her. She has more enemies waiting to see her relationship collapse. Ivan Ssemwanga is hoping she fails. Pharouq Sempala is also hoping. Diamond’s ex-girlfriend is also hoping and so is Cynthia.
If Zari can cross over this bridge to the other side, then no storm will ever be stronger for her. We can only hope that this relationship is not collapsing especially at this stage of the pregnancy.
