After celebrating 20 years in music, Uganda’s Jazz and saxophone maestro Isaiah Katumwa has dedicated the proceeds from his Jazz concert to starting a radio station.

The Jazz genius who put up an electric performance that left revelers yearning for more at his Jazz Concert recently will start a Jazz themed Radio station in Kampala.

Isaiah Katumwa and Hugh Masekela perform at the Jazz concert.

Isaiah’s strategic goal in venturing into radio business is to boost the genre which is not very popular in Uganda as well as make money off his business.

“I ventured into this in order to make sure that people can listen to Jazz music more and also to make off some income,” he said recently.

According to our sources, Isaiah has already bought Radio equipment and is set for the airwaves soon.

We will keep you posted.
