Uganda Revenue Authority’s Alex Isabirye will be under pressure today at Lugazi to impress his employers on his second spell at the “Tax Collectors club” as they host struggling Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU). Isabirye who is serving his second spell at the club after replacing the sacked Paul Nkata (who is currently at Kira Young) is yet to earn a win in the league since his return to the five time league record champions.
URA who lie in the bottom three of the Uganda Premier League (UPL) table after collecting just three points from their four games played so far will be home today to host 8th placed SC VU who have drawn their recent three consecutive games.
The Tax Collectors will be without the services of Emmanuel Ngama who will be serving his suspension following his red card booking in the 2-2 draw at Bombo Military stadium over the weekend against Simba FC. Without him, Alex Isabirye will be left with only Erukana Nkugwa, a brace scorer against Simba FC and Robert Ssentongo who’s yet to find his scoring boots.
SCVU are also still clambering for form following their three consecutive goalless draws besides winning on opening day which leaves the title contenders at 6points from four games. The advantage however lies in their hands for the fact that they haven’t lost to URA FC in the league in four games. They are also yet to concede a goal this season while URA have scored three and conceded four so far in the same campaign.
