Socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan has lashed out at people fueling rumors about singer Rema Namakula and her husband Dr. Hamza Ssebunya’s alleged infidelity.
The storm started when popular TikTok gossip monger, Senga Acid claimed that Hamza has a side chic whom he allegedly airlifts in helicopters to private islands for secret getaways. Senga Acid added that she is only waiting for the right moment to release “proof” of Hamza with this mystery woman.
As the story spread across TikTok, X, and Facebook, more people jumped in with opinions, sparking heated debates about Rema’s marriage. Some have already believed these claims wondering how Hamza could do this to the Tonight singer owing their seemingly strong love
Zari, however, had no kind words for those poking their noses into Rema’s private life. In a strongly worded Instagram post, she blasted online rumor-mongers advising Rema not to listen to them.
The fact that y’all are so invested in Rema’s relationships, smh. What a sad world we live in… Y’all have no proof naye but are like roaches all over the place. So what if he cheated, so f**kin what yasose. Goddammit. Mwedeeko, y’all can make someone commit suicide or get depressed. Rema nyweza, it’s the same people who will rant wanobye ensi ekulemye. Don’t give them the benefit of the doubt.
She went on to accuse critics of celebrating without evidence, saying:
“Funny thing no one, nobody has evidence, but all are rejoicing. Mufunilawa? Smh!”
It should be noted that Zari has been a victim of such circumstances in almost her relationships but most especially with her current husband, Shakib Lutaaya. Rumors have always spread about either her cheating on him with her ex, Diamond Platnumz or him cheating on her with younger babes in Uganda.
Therefore it’s only logical that she’s come out to defend Rema. Meanwhile the singer and her hubby are mute about these wild allegations.
