When we watch our favourite musicians perform on stage, we seem to forget that they’re human beings just like us. But every once in a while, a brutally embarrassing moment happens that reminds us that they are really just like us.
Ugandan female singer Iryn Namubiru has opened up about her one such moment. The “Kyadaki” singer, who says has had several embarrassing moments in her music career, has revealed that her most embarrassing moment was neither a wardrobe malfunction or, worse, falling off stage.
She has revealed that her most embarrassing moment was when she forgot her lines while performing the national anthem.
“My most embarrassing moment was when I forgot my lines in the national anthem.” She said, recounting the experience. “I was worried I would forget some of the lines even before stepping on the podium because I am used to singing only one stanza. And when it happened, I felt like I was choking and wished the floor could just swallow me.”
