Iryn Morel Namubiru who by this time would be serving her life time imprisonment had the Japanese Court sentenced her, has another story to tell.
The curvy singer will be graduating (in absentia) on Friday with a Bachelors degree in Hotel and Tourism management at Cavendish University Uganda.
According to the Director of her Booking Firm, “Irene will instead be busy in London doing her interview with BBC (while the rest are celebrating) and of course performing at the inaugural Grajoh End of Year Concert at the London Royal Regency.”
Namubiru has been over town telling whoever cares that she’s no longer to be counted among drop-outs. “I came short of getting a First Class Degree. I was able to balance family, work and academics and here I am, a proud degree holder,” Namubiru was heard telling friends.
BigEye.ug congratulates the singer on this great achievement. We can only hope Kalifah Aganaga will have a role model as he juggles his course at Makerere University.
