On Friday afternoon, Master’s Music, a record label held an event at their offices in Ntinda. The event that was meant to announce a new chapter in their music business was attended by celebrities like Comedian Alex Muhangi, DJ Nimrod, bloggers and media personalities from different media houses among others.

The event was meant to unveil Irene Namubiru together with singers Kin Bella and King Solomon. Irene Namubiru who has been singing for many years will go on with his music but this time under Master’s Music that will manage all her works.

The singer will kickstart work after putting pen to paper and currently, she is pushing her latest song titled Kikondolo. The song that features young talented singer Sama Soja was released last week and it is a project that is so far making the two artistes busy.

While on an interview at the unveiling, the singer was asked why she is still signing with record labels yet she is supposed to be retiring from music. In response to that, Namubiru said that music is not like football where players retire because they are old enough but rather it is for singing until you lose a voice instead which is on few occasions when people lose voices.
