The national elections are around the corner and all is being done to have the biggest voter torn out ever.
Musician Irene Ntale, Vampino, Santana, Fille and Michael Ross have been chosen as ambassadors for the #WhatWouldYouthDo campaign to rally youth to vote and help bring change in the next elections.
Speaking to fans about the initiative, Vampino who has been selected as the health ambassador for the campaign called upon youth to come out and make a choice on leaders who will help them get good laws that will improve the health situation in the country.
He said; “Medicines are inaccessible to most people and very expensive. I want to call out to all the youths to come out and vote and change this. I am voting this year and I want my fellow youth to come out in big numbers and make a choice on who can bring change in Uganda.”
Several other singers, like Michael Ross who is responsible for addressing the jobs issue in the campaign, Santana who is in charge of arts and entertainment, Irene Ntale who is talking about education and Fille who is all about employment will be unveiled on Wednesday at Sheraton hotel as the official ambassadors of the campaign.
