While appearing on M-Net’s new proudly East African general entertainment channel, Maisha Magic, Irene Ntale revealed that she would never have made it to the limelight had it not been for Gagamel boss, Bebe Cool.
Irene said in an interview aired last weekend that Bebe Cool is like her dad when it comes to her music career. The singer who began her journey in the church choir at a tender age also said that unlike other stars, he is open to working with upcoming artistes and grants them the respect they deserve.
“I think working with Bebe Cool was one of the best things to happen to my music career so far. We worked on a song called Lover Letter together and it was amazing. He is a very respectful man who will listen even to an upcoming artiste and take your views seriously. I enjoyed working with him,” she stated.
Bebe Cool has worked with other upcoming artistes who have found their way to the top of the Ugandan music industry. One of such artistes is Rema Namakula who later deflected from his Gagamel camp.
Ntale is known for her songs Nkubukinze, Gyobera and Politrix with a recent addition called Ono Omwana.
We will keep you posted.
