Irene Ntale, Maurice Kirya and Salvado named Wild Aid Ambassadors

The New Year is already looking bright for local musician stars, Irene Ntale and Maurice Kirya.

The two singers have landed a new ambassadorial role alongside local comedian Patrick Salvado Idringi.  The local stars have been named the Wild Aid Ambassadors for Uganda.

They join a rich portfolio of celebrity ambassadors from across the globe that includes renowned sportsmen, musicians, businessmen and movie stars such as Carmello Anthony, Sir Richard Branson, Jackie Chan, Leonardo Di Caprio and Lupita Nyong’o among others.

WildAid is a non-profit organisation that seeks to end the illegal wildlife trade in our lifetimes by reducing global consumption of wildlife products through public awareness campaigns and strengthening enforcement.
