Singing Diva Irene Ntale has reacted to the recently passed anti-pornography bill.
During an interview on NTV the Beat music show with the host Douglas Lwanga, the Sembera singer who had come to talk about World Press Freedom day ended up revealing her dissatisfaction with the anti-pornography bill.
“I am concerned about this law as a female musician because this law will affect us most since our dress code normally varies when shooting videos and performing in different places,” said Ntale.
She also cited female artiste Sheebah indicating that she will be unable to shoot another nice video like Nkwataako since it shows some of her body parts.
According to Anti-Pornography Law, it outlaws anything that shows sexual parts of a person such as breasts, thighs, buttocks or any erotic behaviour intended to cause sexual excitement or any indecent act or behaviour tending to corrupt morals, among other things.
