Interview: RnB rising star Moriz, talks about his music journey and his next projects.

Moriz is a fast rising talented vocalist in the music industry, BigEye.Ug’s Seguya Musa caught up with him for a quick talk and we have the excerpts

What is your real name?

I am Kaye Rakhan Mahad aka Moriz born 1996 January 1st to Mr & Mrs Nsubuga Dirisa and Nasejje Zainah.

What is your education level?

I am in my vacation, completed my form six from Mityana Mordern back in 2014 and I am planning on joining campus anytime soon and probably it will be Makerere University.

What type of music do you do?

I am a versatile musician but right now I am concentrating more on RnB and Afro beat

How many songs have you recorded so far?

I have so far 5 songs, Obimenye, Kasomye, Jamila mwana, Super Lady, and Romatic.

Which record label are you signed to?

I am signed to 5music Entertainment group

Who inspired you to start singing?

I was inspired by Elly Wamala, I grew up listening to Elly Wamala, I loved his songs mostly the message which he delivered through them. He changed many people’s lives and made me want to sing too.

Which Ugandan musician would you like to do a collabo with?

I would like to do a collabo with David Lutalo, he is so talented doing good music wise and he does the kind of music I also do.

Is there a musician you think you are better than?

Of course they are there and many, just give me a little time, I am going to prove to them all

Where do you see yourself in five years to come?

I will be a big artiste probably the king of RnB by then and also I will be able to fill Lugogo Cricket oval to capacity with my concerts or maybe Africana.

Any last words to your fans?

I ask all my fans to keep supporting me, requesting my music and also to keep believing in me.
