Who is Nessim?
Nessim is a producer at Badi Music recording studio.
We understand that you were once a singer, what made you quit singing?
I am still a singer. I have a lot of songs in studio and some are already out although I don’t get time to shoot videos because I have been so busy in production.
We understand you are also a songwriter, which artistes have you worked with?
I have written songs for many artistes. Although I can not mention names, just know I have a role on most of the songs I produce.
How is it like working with A Pass?
It is not bad. A Pass is a good singer; he cooperates and yes it is fun working with him, I enjoy.
What are your favorite songs at the moment?
Tuli Kubigere by A Pass, Still Standing by Cindy, Woman by Juliana, Summer time by Nessim ft Fefe Bussi and Royal by Eddy Kenzo ft Patoranking.
What are some of the challenges you face as a producer?
Well, the biggest challenge is I sleep late and wake up early. I can’t enjoy my sleep because I always have piles of studio work.
How did it feel like winning the Best Producer award at the recent concluded Zzina Awards?
Actually, I have been the Best Producer at Zzina Awards two years consecutively and, yes, it feels good. It makes me feel my work is appreciated.
Whom are you dating?
I am not dating anyone at the moment. I am single and searching.
What kind of a girl would you want?
I would want to date an understanding girl with a good sense of humor.
Which big international artistes have you worked with?
I have worked with many international artistes like Jamaica’s Konshenz on Gamululu remix, Canadian singer Karl Wolf, Nigeria’s Patoranking and Shaydee.
Where do u see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself as the biggest producer in the world in the next five years.
