As we countdown to the ninth season of the biggest reality show on the continent, Big Brother Hotshots, Asuquo Eton had a quick chat with former Big Brother The ChaseHousemate Isaac Lugudde-Katwe, aka LK4.

The 1.9m-tall ladies man from Kampala, Uganda, who describes himself as “compassionate, sexy, conscious, comical and athletic”, tells us more about life after Big Brother.

When you hear Big Brother what comes to mind?

When I hear the words “Big Brother”, I think of being monitored by a “force” that controls my environment. LOL

What was the best time you had and loved during your stay on Big Brother?

The best time I had in the house was simply when all Housemates were together.

What advice do you have for this year’s contestants?

The advice I will give to this year’s Housemates is, lower your expectations, don’t believe the hype and never lower your morals to gain that which is not certain. Stay grounded and humble.

Do you think Big Brother participants have better opportunities after their stay in the house?

It depends on what you do. You find that some former Housemates have a better life by just returning and doing what they normally do just based on the fact that they are content. Opportunities are based on your mentality and your morals. Some gain opportunities but throw away their morals. So, it is based on choices.

What do you miss the most about your stay in the Big Brother house?

What I miss about my stay in the Big Brother House is my talks with Oneal and Sulu.

Do you still communicate with your former Housemates?

I still communicate with everyone I need to communicate with. Some I don’t and they know why, well, only one, but it’s not even a factor. Everyone is so busy too, but we all send love to one another when need be.

What are your expectations for this year’s Big Brother Hotshots edition?

I am not sure what to expect. I just wish them all the best and congrats to making it that far.

As a professional basketball player, if you were to play in the NBA, what team would you love to play for and why?
The only NBA team that I would want to play for is Boston Celtics. Reason being, it’s my city and the place that made the man who you see today.

Have you ever visited Nigeria, and if yes, when and where?

I have not visited Nigeria and I am kindly waiting for the invite. Apart from what the media portrays, I hear it is beautiful and has kind-hearted people. So, I would love to visit.

Apart from basketball, what other projects are you currently working on?

Apart from basketball, I am working on my wedding preparations, I have real estate properties and other things concerning international business relations.

Big Brother Hotshots kicks off on Sunday, 7 September at 19:00 CAT and run 24/7 on DStv channels 197 and 198.
