The Board of Directors of Crested Capital are pleased to announce the launch of Uganda’s first interactive website dedicated to retail investors: CrestedCapital.com is designed for use on smart-phones and other mobile devices and offers up-to-date share prices, listed company research, and fixed income reports. The interactive functions include the ability to submit comments and questions through the site and to receive e-mail notifications whenever new material is uploaded.
According to Crested Capital Chief Executive Officer Mr. Robert Baldwin: “Crested have a vibrant and long-standing electronic media presence, starting as far back as 2005 when we launched our original website. In 2010 we entered the social media world by joining Facebook and in 2011, Twitter. Management believes this medium attracts a key segment of our target market: young, working Ugandans who are increasingly active in this space.”
