Africa’s Top Travel Tradeshow, INDABA 2015, is set to start on the 9th till 11th May 2015 and it will take place at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre in Durban.

INDABA is the biggest platform for African tourism businesses to meet global buyers of their products and services. The three-day show attracts Africa’s best tourism and travel trade offerings, which attract the most influential buyers in the world.

Tourism product owners across Africa share the common challenge of attracting visitors in an increasingly competitive global market. The tradeshow illustrates how tourism offerings from various African countries have differentiated themselves by using their unique cultural, historical and natural assets to the full benefit of their tourism industries.

About 1,200 tourism products from 25 African countries were exhibited at INDABA 2014, with Uganda having stall where the ministry of tourism, managed to showcase and present what it has to offer as a tourist destination to the rest of Africa and the world.

South African Tourism board CEO, Mr Thulani Nzima: says that INDABA must give exhibitors an unrivalled and effective platform to showcase their products and services, and to do business.

“South African Tourism board is working to make sure that INDABA 2015 exceeds the business expectations of both exhibitors and buyers” said Thulani Nzima.

“INDABA is the single biggest platform for African tourism businesses to come and meet global buyer delegates. This tradeshow attracts the cream and the best cross section of the African tourism and travel trade which in turn, attracts the best buyers in the world.” Nzima added.

INDABA Early Bird registrations for exhibitors closed on 30 November 2014. Over 400 exhibitors have confirmed their places on the tradeshow floor. Applications for the INDABA buyer lounge have opened, and registrations are now open for both hosted- and non-hosted buyer applicants.
