House of Prayer Ministries’ lead pastor, Pastor Aloysius Bugingo and girlfriend Suzan Makula are in hot soup yet again.

This follows fresh court charges against them for entering a void marriage, Bigamy.
Bigamy is an offence of marrying someone while already married to another person.
Charges root from that fact that Pastor Bugingo is still legally married to his first wife, Pastor Teddy Naluswa Bugingo, but he went ahead and held a traditional marriage ceremony with new lover Suzan Makula in December, 2021.
The glamorous ceremony saw a few guests and some fabled names in the country attend like; Bebe Cool, Frank Gashumba, Kato Lubwama, and many more.
It’s understood that Pastor Bugingo and Suzan Makula fouled over five marriage counts with the superior one being “Contracting marriage by customary law when already married under the marriage act contrary to section 50 of the marriage ACT CAP, 251.”
According to Police CID Spokesperson Charles Twine, the couple has been served with criminal summons ordering it to appear before Entebbe Court on Friday, January 21, 2022.
This comes in a few days after the Director of Public Prosecution, took over Pastor Pastor Bugingo-Makula introduction case from Lawyer Hassan Male Mabirizi.
