Uganda Police has moved to arrest a number of suspects believed to be behind the murder of Dr. Catherine Agaba.
One of them is her boyfriend. It is believed that the two have been having a rift and counter-accusations between the couple. The neighbours say fights always ensued especially when the boyfriend a USA based doctor returned for his Easter Holidays.
“All we know is we stopped seeing her going out to work. She was renting in Muyenga because it was near her workplace. But then we stopped seeing her. We actually thought she had traveled but the boyfriend was still around,” a neighbour notes.
After Dr. Agaba was murdered, she was dumped in a septic tank. It is believed that the security guards could have taken part in the plot to carry out the body and dump her.
It is the stench that awakened the other apartment residents to suspect that perhaps their neighbour could have been buried in the vicinity. Police swung to action and was able to retrieve a rotting body from the septic tank.
