Idris Elba has been named the Sexiest Man Alive for 2018, replacing Blake Shelton. PEOPLE announced it through “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday, November 5, and the British actor was just as excited as his fans were.
In the cover story of the magazine, Elba admitted that he couldn’t believe he was honored with the coveted title, because he never thought that he’d be sexy enough to be named the Sexiest Man Alive.
In honor of the title, Elba has earned a Twitter emoji of his own. Fans can unlock the emoji on the micro-blogging site by writing out #SexiestManAlive, #SexiestManAlive2019, #PeopleSexiestMan and #IdrisElba.
