Bobi Wine and wife Barbie

Ugandan musician turned politician, Bobi Wine had nothing but praise for his wife, Barbie Kyagulanyi Itungo while talking to the media on Tuesday.
While speaking in a TV interview, Bobi turned emotional as he thanked Barbie for helping him get to where he is right now.
“I do not know what to say about my wife Barbie. She has fought a number of battles for me and I believe would not be here if I did not have her support. There is nothing I can give back to her but I pray that God guides her and gives her whatever she desires,” Bobi Wine said.
Bobi Wine was addressing media after he was duly nominated as a Presidential candidate in the 2021 race. He had been escorted by his wife Barbie for the nomination and the two were seen holding hands throughout.
His nomination was seen by many as a big step and was branded historical especially in Uganda’s music industry since he became the first musician to stand for presidency.
