Comedian Patrick Idringi Salvado has strongly spoken out against violence, adding his voice to many others that have been calling for peace during the election period. Salvado says he will not let anyone infringe on his right to live a safe life, even when he shares similar political affiliations with them. He posted:
“We might be on the same page in regards who we support but if you start spreading propaganda and inciting people to engage in violence I will blatantly tell you off.
Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose but it’s the aftermath that will define your true intentions… I’m for peace.. You incite violence you infringe on my rights to live a safe life and that’s more important to me.”
