Bobi Wine

By Stuart G-Khast

Despite the ongoing rivalry among artistes based on their political affiliations, Dembe singer Bobi Wine has shown support for the Tubona Nawe artistes who are currently on the spot light for siding with the ruling party NRM.

In a recent interview, Bobi Wine said he will show support for the Tubonga Nawe artistes despite the political differences. This follows a campaign by the opposition to boycott Tubonga nawe artistes’ works including their concerts and music.

Despite Bobi Wine not being one of them, he has explicitly stated he will side and support them in any way possible.

“I have talked to the opposition to forgive and take back the artistes they have apparently asked their following to boycott,” he said.

Bobi Wine on the other hand has stated that he takes no side but follows justice and equality.
