Months after divorcing her husband of three months, Mastula, daughter to tycoon Mutaasa Kafeero has spoken out on her now broken marriage and the cause.
Mastula who was forced by family to wed Haji Fahad Lugobe said she was barely 21 when she married Fahad, a man she never loved. “It was a family affair, the marriage was organised without my consent,” she said.
Mastula said she was never happy in her marriage and not even money could keep her in a forced marriage. “Money was not my problem, I could live without his money,” the city socialite said.
Fahad and Mastula got married three months ago in a lavish ceremony that attracted top city money bags.
Its unfortunate that barely three months into it, things got sour and they divorced.
