Forever upcoming artiste, Leila Kayondo, has revealed that she wants to visit her ex-lover SK Mbuga who is in jail in Dubai.
Leila Kayondo who had a bad breakup with SK Mbuga after he assaulted her back in 2016 revealed that she has not been close to the singer ever since he got married to another lady, Vivienne.
Speaking about SK Mbuga, Leila said; ‘I have never talked to him. I had deleted his number when he was in Uganda. I have never visited him in jail. But as my ex and a friend if I get an opportunity I can go and see him.’
In February this year, socialite Sulaiman Kabangala aka SK Mbuga was arrested at Dubai airport and taken to jail at Awir Central Jail in Dubai. Mbuga was arrested and detained following accusations of fraud and money laundering in a gold deal gone bad.
Months after, his friends have come up with a plan to rescue him. One of the options on the table is to pay up all the money that he is accused of stealing from a Swedish national amounting to 23 billion Uganda shillings. The charge sheet shows that he did this along with his wife, Vivienne who has been missing from the time the case came up.
His friends, including a former nemesis Cameroon Gitawo recently revealed that they will be travelling to Dubai to have him released. Gitawo who has been known to be an enemy to Mbuga after he accused him of trying to take his wife, Vivienne from him, said that tough times call for tough decisions and this is why he decided to throw all their beef behind and help him out.
He also said that Mbuga is a good man who has helped many, built hospitals and helped people gets jobs, his absence is bad for many.
