My name is Tobias Juma, a 28-year-old resident of Busia. Imlucky to be alive. I have lost count of the number of times I have been chased by an angry mob for stealing stuff, radios, TVs, Mobile phones and electronic gadgets of all kinds. Only last week, I was almost lynched after a failed attempt at snatching a woman’s phone alongside Musonda road in Busia. I ran as fast as I could, only for four men to emerge out of nowhere.

Young smiling couple working from home, going over paperwork while sitting on the sofa

was caught, red-handed with the phone in hand. I went on my knees to beg for mercy. Luckily, the lady whose phone I snatched asked that they let me go, seeing that I was already bleeding from the many kicks and blows I had already suffered. That is one incident out of many. I have been behind bars a couple of times.

Once, I sneaked in a compound belonging to the area MCA and stole a TV, decoder and a laptop. Unfortunately, there was CCTV in the house, and I was captured less than an hour later when I tried to move the items with a local second-hand dealer. I have received thorough beatings, been shot at and spent time in prison, but, remarkably, as soon as I get out and can walk on my own two feet, I go back to stealing. Talk of not learning from one’s mistakes. I have changed locations a couple of times too, in a bid to start over, but as soon as the first temptation appears, the urge to steal is just too strong. I can’t help myself. I have come to suspect, maybe am cursed, and maybe I won’t ever be able to stop stealing.

Most of my family have distanced themselves from me, especially after they too have become victims of my unsavoryattitude. My older sister took me in once and within a week, regretted her decision after several of her handbags went missing. I was the sole culprit and having forced her hand, she kicked me out, deservedly so.

Still, of all my other siblings, she is the only one who showed up whenever I ran into trouble, like being apprehended by the MCA and locked for further questioning. She was also the one who finally came to my aid when I called her one day to tell her that iwas losing hope. I had been unemployed, no one would hire me, nobody cared and even my landlord had had enough of complaints of tenants complaining of missing clothes from their lines. I had nowhere to go, no money and no reliable friends. My actions had only served to alienate myself with literally everyone. I was crying, hungry and desperate when I called. I swore to myself, if she didn’t pick, the next thing in mind was to throw myself at a speeding car on the highway. But, she picked.

She made arrangements to have me fed. Then she sought a traditional herbalist called Mugwenu Doctors to have me receive further assistance. Mugwenu Doctors turned out to be highly professional, very skilled and vastly experienced in traditional medicine, using herbs and concoctions to treat people of all kinds of illnesses, including unethical behaviors and addictions. They quickly used one of their unique Spiritual Cleansing Rituals to cast away the demons that were driving me towards stealing every day and within a day, I was healed. From then onwards, I had no desire to walk away with somebody else’s stuff. I have since found employment, thanks to MugwenuDoctors and can say that am hopeful, optimistic and ready to live a promising, meaningful life full of peace, prosperity and abundance. I would recommend Mugwenu Doctors to anyone out there with similar addiction, be it stealing, Food addiction, Exercise addiction, Masturbation or drugs.
