Musician Renah Nalumansi was recently quizzed about how she manages to strike a balance between being a top entertainer and mothering her daughter.
The singer who recently launched her Ontambuzza Nyongera album revealed that much as she strives to become the best artiste in Uganda, she has never sacrificed time with her daughter for music. She said that she balances the two very well.
“Well, it is easy. I always find time for my daughter. She is part of me. I am not always on stage performing so I have time for my daughter, for example, no matter what time or how tired I get, I wake her up in the morning and prepare her for school,” the loving single mother revealed.
Renah revealed that although she separated with the father of her daughter, the two still communicate for the good of their child.
Renah loved music from way back and everyone knew how much she loved music. When she was pursuing a diploma at Uganda College of Commerce in 2006, a friend told her about auditions at Dream Studios in search of dream girls. Later, Eddie Yaweh called her that evening and told her that she had gone through. From that day, she started professional music.
