Kampala Capital City Executive Director, Jenifer Musisi has apologized to a photographer called Baba who was battered by her guards.
“In other news Jennifer S Musisi’s security men just mugged me for having taken her photo on the street “Mbu she is a public figure and I should not take her photo.” That is the main reason I should take her photo in a public place. Standby for the photos they thought they had deleted from my camera! These are dot com times! Not only that, the guy tells me he was going to shoot me with his pistol! Where do they pick these things from?” Baba ranted.
Being the ardent Social Media user that she is with her E-governance policy, Musisi swung in action quickly and apologized to Baba.
“Hi Brytcity Baba I have just been told of this incident and found out that one of our team actually behaved unprofessionally. I have reprimanded him and cautioned the others because we would never condone such behavior. It appears they do at times get over enthusiastic or over cautious. This is to personally apologize to you of course People are free to take whatever photos when we are in public,” she said.
Musisi was then applauded for her humility.
“Praise the Lord sister Jennifer S Musisi. No sooner, had I planned to stage a peaceful protest at your office than I read your reply to the grandson of my grandfather who also doubles as the son of my father and father of my nephews. I must admire the Mukiga in you for having done it the professional way of apologizing. My memory verse for you today is Proverbs 31:30. Amen,” said Johnson.
We will keep you posted.
