Uganda’s renowned movie translator VJ Junior Matovu has finally come out to dismiss reports claiming that he will contest for councilor of Bwaise II come 2016. VJ Junior further revealed that he is not yet ready to join active politics at the moment.
“I am sorry for letting my fans down but when the right time comes, I will stand for any seat but not now, am not into politics yet,” VJ Junior said.
He added that he once mentioned the idea of contesting to his fans as a joke but was shocked recently when he saw posters of him on streets distributed by his loyal fans.
It should be noted that VJ Junior is one of the top movie translators in Uganda and has a huge number of followers.
