Straka who recently made headlines after her landlord exposed her for defaulting rent is using the same scandal to forge a music career and let the world know that she is a self-made independent woman.
The WBS TV presenter who was allegedly caught in the wee hours of the morning loading her property onto a truck to escape without clearing her rent arrears rubbished her landlord’s claims in a statement posted online saying that she can never stoop so low.
According to her landlord, a one Nsubuga, Straka owed up to Ugx 5 million in rent arrears accumulated over a period of about 6 months.
Straka revealed that she can never default on rent singing a song that left her landlord looking like the bad guy at his own estate.
“What would a proud self-made independent woman do if a small minded man tried taking advantage of her with the threats of cheap embarrassment? All that has been said won’t drain me down because I know my worth can never stoop down to a level of objectifying my body as a form of payment,” she stated.
“I wholeheartedly thank everyone who’s been there to listen to me and understand me than judge me, my Fans, My Followers and my Friends. If I was to advise that “gentleman” I would tell him that every one of his lies destroys a whole reputation of his integrity.”
