His Excellence President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Friday last week graced Sports Club Villa’s 40th anniversary celebrations dubbed Villa@40 that were held at Hotel Africana.

Museveni donated a brand new bus to the Jogoos to help them in transport issues during all their sports events. He also praised SC Villa for investing in its self-sustainability and being an example to all other clubs across the country.

About 10 years ago, President Museveni gave Villa a bus, however they did complain that one that was presented to them wasn’t good enough no wonder it has worn out so quickly.

“What greater honour is there than having H.E President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni not only honor an invitation to be the Guest of Honour at #scvillaAt40 anniversary celebrations, by our beloved President Eng. Ben Misagga, but also register as a Gold member of the club, donate a brand new bus to the club and autograph a custom club jersey made for him,” Villa posted on their Facebook page.

The ceremony was graced by many dignitaries including FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo, Minister for Sports Charles Bakabulindde among others.
