Musician Rema Namakula has been one of the best performing artistes who stole the show in 2015.
The award winning artiste whose music has earned her two MTN Uganda Callertunez award nods has been at the top of her game throughout the year.
When she broke away from Bebe Cool a few years ago, everyone thought that this would be her end but to the surprise of many, Rema has managed to stay on top by breaking more records by the day. The 24 year old mother of one has proved that she doesn’t need a big artiste by her side to make it.
One of the key secrets that Rema has used to make remain relevant is being a woman who listens to industry leaders. After she lost Bebe Cool’s stwerdship, Rema run to her ‘mother’ Halima Namakula who has groomed her to the star that she is.
With songs like Linda with Chris Evans, Katonotono, Lean On Me and Lowoza Kunze Rema has managed to stay in the hearts of fans, lead in downloads on her digital platforms as well as lead in song requests on Radio.
