So wardrobe recycling is normal for many of us. At one point you run out of what to wear, and have to re-wear what you have worn before. However, for fear of not wanting your friends to realize that you are wearing the same pair of pants in one week, you can employ a few styling tricks and turn the look around.
Today, I will give you five different looks to pull off that one pair of tights you love to recycle, and at the end of the day, only you and your mirror will know it is the same pair of tights, only worn differently.
To pull this off, you will work around with your accessories like the shoes, and jewelry.
Look one.
We presume the tights are black. So for the first look, pair the tights with a high low top, and finish this off with a denim jacket. Since the denim jacket adds a bit toughness to the look, finish the look with a pair of studded ankle boots, or a gladiator heels. Wear your hair down, and add little lipstick to complete the look. If you decide to have the sleeves of your jacket rolled up, then add few bracelets to cover up the bare arms.
Look two.
It’s a rather chilly Friday morning, but you don’t plan on letting the weather ruin your plans of looking stylish for the day. So pull off your black leather tights differently, pair them with a pair of brown over the knee boots. Since its chilly, you want to cover up, add a vest to this, then a turtle neck sweater, held with a little waist belt, to balance out. So it’s the same tights, but worn differently this time to keep you warm but still stylish.
Look three.
For a more relaxed, but still stylish look, pair your tights with a fitting animal prints shirt, and have this button down. If you are not a fan of the bow ties, then have the shirt tucked in, then add a fedora hat to complete. This look, can be completed with a pair of sleek heels, preferably in red, knowing how nicely red matches with animal print. Add any of your favorite designer tote to match.
Look four.
This is my personal favourite. With the same pair of tights, add a lose fitting white tee, then throw on a colourful blazer to complete. Since the tee is likely to have a plunging neckline, then have on a few chins, going way past the neckline of your tee. To complete this look, go for peep toe boots, or maybe a pair of heels of your choice. Keep the blazer coloured, to break the monochrome monotony in the look. Add an envelope clutch to this look.
Look five.
This last look, will require the not just courage but also the perfect poise to pull it off. You will have to pair the tights with a cropped top. However, preferably, have it with a turtle neck, so that there is less skin on show. Have your hair held up, and you could add a varsity jacket, to keep out the cold. Wedged sneakers, could add some much needed flair to the look.
