MUGULA JOINS BETTING MAFIA TO RUIN HIS CAREER.
The fight between Mugula and Golola surprised many Ugandans when a coach was hit hard by Golola.
How it happened.
Mugula was approached by betting Mafias to accept a fight with Golola. Mugula didn’t welcome the idea because he has much respect for Golola for his enormous contribution to kickboxing. Mugula never wanted to humiliate Golola with his hard fists. Betting Mafia promised millions to Mugula if he accept to fight.
He took time and decided to have a friendly chat with Golola who begged him to refuse the offer on grounds that he is a victim of betting Mafia who ruined his career when he gave in losing to late Naggy.
Golola revealed to Mugula that people now don’t trust his kickboxing career. Mugula listened but still he wanted to do a favour for Golola’s enormous contribution to kickboxing which was going down the drain.
Remember, I dropped to a level of going to Masaka and my promoter failed to pay the hotel bill and I was left to languish; Golola lamented to Mugula.
Mugula communicated to the betting mafia who swung in to convince Golola to accept a fight with Mugula as his comeback to limelight.
At first a deal was agreed to have a fair fight. Date and venue were set and publicity started. Pressure built in for the fight and betting mafia had big cash in with many staking for Mugula in millions.
Betting Mafia saw it worthy to convince Mugula to drop down for Golola to win. Mugula accepted to pretend boxing and kicking while accepting hard kicks from Golola. Golola took his time to round five and he was announced man of the day.
That is how Mugula lost to Golola!!
The Mafia betting tricks are killing careers for junior kickboxers since people are now losing trust to attend these fights. Professional kickboxing must resist betting Mafias. They are earning big while boxers are getting peanuts at a cost of their career when legacy is not felt by the wanainchi who frequent arenas.
I wish Afande Omara was not a master of teargas, he would have intervened to investigate. Okay, Kawesi can take on but still you have issues with the death of a businessman Wamala.
So Interpol Mr. KASINGE investigate these betting Mafia killing our game. If you can’t handle just consult General Aronda on how he swept passport Mafias on Jinja road. Together against betting MAFIA disaster, we hold high kickboxing to eternity.
Yours concerned Ugandan.
Whether it could have been the hard economic times, but we still don’t understand how on earth a man like Mugula could go to such heights to ruin his career for the sake of money. From the stage-managed press-conference fights and abuses, everything was running on a script.
