Hotel Diplomate is getting a new look.
We have learnt that the Muyenga based hotel is undergoing massive renovations.
H.E Prof. Boney Katatumba and Gertrude Katatumba, Hotel Diplomate’s owners have confirmed the massive renovations and say that the hotel’s new look will be unveiled very soon along with new management.
The Katatumba Family is excited about the new changes and believe that with the hotel’s new look, it will once again be one of the best hotels in the country.
Engraved in stone, half bricks and clay tiles, Hotel Diplomate was opened in the 1970’s by former President Milton Obote and was a favourite among UN diplomats, government guests, and honeymooning couples.
The hotel is currently under stewardship of songbird Angella Katatumba, who is Managing Director.
